Dear cancun-all-inclusive.com,
I wanted to thank you for arranging our
stay at the Moon Palace Sunrise for our honeymoon. I knew it was
to be an extraordinary experience when we were greeted by the attendant
at the front desk with a handshake and the words "welcome home".
Our experience was far beyond our expectations. The accommodations
were impeccable. Our room was striking, with polished marble floors,
a balcony with a view of the beach, an awesome Jacuzzi, and a huge glass
marble walk-in shower. Were it not for the other amenities in the
hotel, we could have easily just stayed in the room for eight days.
Every evening when we returned to our room, we found it perfectly clean,
our towel folded into swans perched on the bottom step of the hot tub,
and the refrigerator re-stocked with our favorite beverages. Wow!
The food was wonderful as well. No matter what time of the day or
night, we were always seated promptly at either of the two large restaurants,
and we greatly enjoyed the immense variety of foods at the buffet.
We selected five tours during our stay.
One of the trips was on the "included" list and the others were extra.
I would highly suggest to anyone interested in the tours that they study
the list of available trips, and book them the day that they arrive at
the hotel. We also booked our massage/manicure/pedicure time the
first day. Booking the tours was the only time-consuming part of
our stay, and availability diminishes rapidly. Stacey was able to
fulfill two of her life-long dreams; swimming with dolphins, and riding
a horse on the beach (she even took the horse for a swim in the ocean).
I enjoyed the Jungle Tour, which consisted of driving a "sea-do" type craft
through the jungle into the National Park's coral reef for an hour of snorkeling.
I was amazed with the beauty and color of the reef and the many varieties
of fish. I took a whole roll of pictures under water with my disposable
camera. I would also recommend to all future tourists to purchase
four or five under-water disposable cameras at home and pack them in your
suitcase. They worked just as well as a standard disposable, both
in and out of the water, and they run about twenty bucks if you wait to
buy them in Cancun.
We had such a wonderful time that we were
reluctant to go back home on the eighth day. We're looking forward
to planning a trip next summer for our first Anniversary. Once again,
thanks so much for making our honeymoon a most wonderful, memorable experience!
